PASSING OF MY BOY SCOUT
| MALCOLM L. DEBNAM |
---|
"If it's worth doing at all, it's worth doing right." That was Malcolm - in his personal and professional lives. Malcolm gave one hundred percent of himself, in performing his job as a lawyer, in showing love as a son, brother, and friend. There is a piece of Malcolm that will live on in everyone that knew him.
Malcolm Loren Debnam, a native of Raleigh departed this life on December 21, 1997. First Baptist Church was blessed among other services of his life, during his early years, his work as a Boy Scout, at which time he received a commendation from President John F. Kennedy, for having met the requirements for The God and Country Award.
(During the seven and a halve years as Scoutmaster, Malcolm and his brother Leotha,Jr, ranked very high among the many young men I had the pleasure to lead.-Webmaster E. Jones)
